Default SC300 in the lead at 16 hour endurance race near Atlanta

We have our Burningham Too Racing Lexus SC300 in the lead at the end of the day today at Atlanta Motorsports Park. We pick back up in the morning and have 8 more hours to go tomorrow. We are the only Lexus in the field of 58 cars. We ran all day today in the rain, despite being one of the more heavy cars we were pretty nimble. Will post how we end up tomorrow, lots of racing left.

Congratulations!! That's some great driving! Interesting that a FWD non-turbo (was it non turbo?) 3000GT managed to pull second place above an E46.

Good luck tomorrow and later when the dust is settled would love to hear your thoughts on the race.

I drove my 92 SC400 for 16 hours from San Antonio to OC, CA. 1338 miles I think I had 2 hours of fueling and eating in there due to the time difference. I was at 100mph for the majority of the lonely trip, and folks in Texas were still passing me! . Rock solid cars.

People were passing you at 100mph.... wow! We need some roads around here like that. Would be nice.

UPDATE:
We fought through some adversity but ended up winning the race on Sunday.
Saturday pic:

Impound after the race:

One of our "adversities" we had to overcome:

We actually got lucky Sunday, a very quick V6 MR2 was several laps ahead of us but they started having transmission and fuel delivery issues which allowed us to catch them with about 30 min left in the race. Sometimes you just have to get lucky.
