Am I crazy for wanting a 3rd sc?
As you guys already know I have 2 vvti 400s and building my 2jz nat in my garage, I was thinking to prevent a headache in wring 2jz into one of my 400vvtis, I can just get a good 95 sc300 shell and drop the 2j into it.
So sc300 came up for sale at $1500, I'm thinking about go ahead and pull the trigger on it this silver blue to make my life easier as far as dropping nat into the 300 and be done with it and go from there
what are your thoughts and contributions?

IMO, 1 SC is enough, but some of us have the disease bad and get more than 1 to sink all our spare cash into. LOL! Not to many of the vvti 400s around, so I'd.save them. Put your 2jz in a 300 shell and be done with it.

I agree with finding a non-VVTi SC300 to put your NA-T engine into. The two 98+ SC400 VVT-i's are rare. Better to leave with their stock drivetrain.
As to how many you should have, that's up to you. It's different for everyone. As a single car owner I feel like one SC300 driver/project car is plenty to keep up but if you have the space for a third SC then go for it. Also, you've got some variety there with those late model SC400's and potentially one turbo SC300, especially if you plan to give it a manual and LSD.
Depends entirely on your preference, LEXXIUM.

Thanks for chiming in guys!!! I'm getting ready to just go and check it out, if the car has any rust I'm walking away, oh an I won't pay more than 11-1200 for the car with missing radio and no ac
I don't have a lots of space for the 3rd ride, I'd have to sell the red car because it was intended for 2j and some love, but I'll paint it and get her done right if have to sell it
The black interior, the 2jz rear sump and the block alone probly worth somethin to recoope some of cash
now I'm going to look at it ...
here are couple of shots of

Looks clean from here. Like the color also. If your pulling the black interior, will look for pics in the classifieds. Good luck. Red 400 should look nice when painted.
