i just bought my car 2 weeks ago and at first i thought it drove pretty quick... it was slow compared to my g35 but it pretty decent. Then recently i drove my friends sub 2.5 rs and that car feels like it is pulling 2 times as hard as my car and it only has 160 hp!!. I know i need to change my spark plugs and coolant but do you guys think i need to check up on anything else? I'm not cool with the idea that a 160 hp car pulls harder than mine and i have the 5 speed....

 

you also have to remember the SC's are pretty heavy cars weighing in around 3500-3600 pounds...that plays a big part in the take off speed

 

i know they are pretty heavy but it still feels really weak.. My old 91 maxima feels faster sometimes. and that car is only 160 hp. that car is pretty heavy too

 

Something might be wrong after all, should definitely feel stronger than a '91 Maxima, I had one and it was definitely slower, doesn't have the DOHC motor...

 

i'm gonna put it through a tune up... hopefully it will come out stronger.. Manuals have tranny fuild too right? What would you guys recommend for the sc300 manual?
