Install Sequential Switchback LED's without disassembling headlight

4 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys,

I wanna install some XKGlow sequential switchback lights in my headlight to mimic the Nike Swish that newer lexuses have.

I wanted to know if it was possible to install them without taking apart the headlight, because from what I've seen, its a fairly invasive process and I dont have any dew or moisture in my headlight and I dont want that to become a problem.

Also, Since our lights are lined (the diagonal magnification streaks across the front) would that mess up the way the LED Strip looks?

Here are some pictures of how my light looks currently.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about the particular brand you're looking at, but most of those LED strips aren't weatherproofed to be installed outside of the headlight housing, so opening your headlights is the only option.

Feed led strip through opening for light

Hey thanks for that alternative.
however I don't want to spend that kind of money since my switchbacks only cost 100
And I was intending on installing them inside. There's no way they'd last outside the lens.

Is it possible to feed the light through hole and hope that it'll stick or is that just wishful thinking.

If you fed it through a hole on the back of the housing, then it would be between the black housing and the chrome trim. You want it to be between the clear lens and the chrome trim to be visible, so feeding it in isn't an option. The only way to properly install them is to split the lights.
