Sorry, I edited my previous post after you had already replied. But yes, the Facebook groups are worse; not to mention, it gives you the opportunity to view firsthand the demographics that now own the 1SC. Like I said in my edited post, I like to post pictures of my well maintained and modified cars in hopes that they will inspire and "coach" the younger folk.

thank you for doing that ... let's all hope they get inspired to do better on their SC modifications. Based on the old survey here , 70% of SC owners are 27 and below . Here locally , I still see that group age . And when I see a hideous mod since they treat me as an older brother from whom they can learn , I say a word even if it was just in passing. But also am glad most of these local kids who love to come to my place , they are into drive train modifications .. 1JZ , 2JZ . Many of them actually have the 1JZ. That is why they love to come to my place. Some will stay the whole day talking about my engine bays .. lmaol.

The thing is what people see first on a car is the looks ... so that is an impression that stays especially if it is just a car that passed by. To see a nice looking well maintained car makes you have a second look and at times even follow them if you can.
