The hills in SF do get annoying while driving a manual car. I went to San Mateo 6 or 7 years ago for a car show, and my friend wanted to do rolling shots on the golden gate bridge before we headed back home, so we had to drive a manual F350 dually with a loaded trailer through SF. It was a very nerve racking experience trying not to hit anyone.

My friend will never sell his SC there is too much emotional attachment. He crossed the point of no return 5 or 6 years ago when he shipped the car to Full Race in Arizona. lol

I got mine a while back from a fellow Supra owner and had them on my supra too. He had them professionally restored to new looking and they had new tires in them. Wasn't cheap either.

haha hey no better way to practice manual than with hills.. once you conquer them you can drive anywhere

I get the rare nice comment on my SC, but most people in my area haven't a clue to what it is and are suprised to find out it is a Lexus. Then I have the rednecks that ask me if the L stands for loser and why I don't buy an american car instead of that jap junk. I tend to feel like Rodney Dangerfield and just can't get no respect.LOL. Even my import guy thinks they're a pain and to expensive to maintain, and he races Toyotas! I'm not deterred by all the negativity and continue to enjoy the car.

I'll get a compliment maybe once a year... too many nicer cars around in West LA for anyone to notice mine. Plus mine is perpetually dirty..whoops

Biggest thing people say is there is no way that is a 1992 and that the SC in that year was before the MK4 Supra
