I am sorry that you didn't understand what I was saying.

Basic Physics Equation: Total pressure = Static pressure plus (1/2 density of air) times (velocity squared).

There can be no further discussion if you don't understand that. Airflow is generally misunderstood because you can't see it and consequently it is difficult to understand without proper knowledge. I don't mean this in a demeaning way, just that people sometimes quote facts that are untrue and based on their logic and not physics.

Speaking strictly about aesthetics:

I've been playing with a BMW F10 Diffuser idea to work with the AC style rear bumper we offer. It's somewhat close in shape, but does need a lot of man hours to "flow" with the rest of an SC. Pic for ideas if anyone wants to try it.

Curious how that would look on an SC knowing the license plate placement on the SC is on the bottom bumper and the oem exhaust holes are MUCH smaller than the ones on the BMW. You'd need to run some huge dual exhausts to make that look right.

I plan on modifying the openings to fit a more factory width exhaust opening, as well as filling in the center so that it "wraps around" the license plate area.

FYI....that is not a "real" diffuser......it is only for looks and will provide minimal if any benefits

Yes, this would strictly be for aesthetics. A "real" diffuser would require CFD testing at minimum to do.

In my opinion, that does not flow with the lines of the car AT ALL. That's not to take anything away from whoever did the install.

Props for the clean install and work and if the owner is happy than that's all that matters!

Agreed. The reason why i chose the BMW one is because it doesn't protrude away from the car as much as the IS diffuser, making it look more "factory".

Just saw this post. That pic of the red SC400 turbo is mine. I had RareFab make me that diffuser bc after around 140 MPH I felt the car kinda lift and do a circle. Not something I want to feel at 150 to 170mph. I kept feeling it and Rarefab said they will make a diffuser and splitters. Im not aerodynamic inclined but all I can tell you is after the diffuser install I never felt that sensation in the car again. Had the diffuser off once and did a test run and it was a notable difference. Rarefab made some calculations and determined I needed at least 8 degrees of angle. So the only way to get that was to cut the wheel well out. IDK if what im using it for actually helps all I know it stops the car feel lose at high speeds. Im super happy with the results.
