Found a white 96 model SC300 and picked it up Sunday for $600. It now goes in the collection of SC300's: the red 93 model, the blue 93 model, and the black 92 model which is the race car. Red, white, and blue (and black). Now I just have to find time to work on all of them.

Dang, thats not gonna be easy. One is in the trailer, one at home, one in storage, this new white one is at a buddy's 2 hours away. I think I have pics separate but i need a group pic.

Nice man, Good stuff. I had 2 sc's for a while down to just the one i made the best out of the two.

What are the plans? I like the race car SC.

Plans are to keep racing the black one. I originally bought the red one for parts back up since it was a manual to match the race set up, but it was too nice to part out so I had it painted and daily it. Found the blue one (auto) for cheap and it is now the parts car and will build a race purpose engine from the 2JZ from it. This white one was just spur of the moment, but I already have all the parts coming to fix the busted control arm on the driver side, the failure took out all the control arms and axle (toe, locating, lower, and upper control arms). I have almost all of the stuff to fix it, but don't want to use up my spares so I ordered all used stuff to go on it for $325 by shopping around. Maybe next weekend get it going. I plan to leave it at my buddy's so I'll have transportation when I am over that way.

I wonder how many original 5spds there are still on the road, after wrecks, retired broken down cars, and parts car acquisitions for driveline swaps? I'm thinking it's in the 1500-2000 range.

Add to the list cars that have been turned into race set ups. I know of at least 8 without thinking about it, so there are quite a few of us tracking these things only.
