Hey guys,

I want to pick up the Soarer power folding mirrors and install them onto my USDM SC400. I believe that originally they are wired into its own control unit.
The hope is to wire the power folding mirrors into the steer wheel's auto tilt away function so that once the key's inserted it will fold out, and when the key's out the mirrors will fold in.

Has anyone in the community attempted this? I did find an old post about it, but it's all in russian, and I'm no electrican

I looked in to this and its been on the back burner on my list, you can find it on ebay with the ecu. you should give it a shot and do a diy on here

What else do the ECU for the mirrors do? Surely it does more than just open and close. Does it tilt when the car is in reverse?
There's so much that I don't know about the Soarer mirrors...

So... what does the JDM mirror ecu do? besides open and close on a press of the button, remembering mirror position based on seat position. anything else?
