The chemical composition is different, however we do currently make clear products for some of our private label customers, so the ability to create clear parts is of no issue.

Hopefully it is a part that you'll consider producing. It has always been a highly requested part for the SC, but every attempt at getting the product made failed due to the high cost of creating the mold. The lenses have always had high price tag, so hopefully APtech can make them affordable.

why is Irving quiet ? How long you think before a diffuser (or trunk spoiler you were saying ?) will be brought out ? I am near in getting some paint job done and maybe I can wait a bit for more products from you so painting can all be done in one job and that will save me money ..

^ With one of those, I might actually be able to see the tail of the car in the rearview! I assume they would be designed to use the factory mounting holes?

Irving - that looks like an S13 duck bill spoiler....I like the height . Wouldn't it look better if the corners on top are rounder just to conform better with the round shape of the SC's butt ? And probably the length just as long as the width of the trunk lid ?

something like this pictured below in terms of roundness ( stock 92 spoiler is also round / concave ) ... but the height of that spoiler of yours is perfect for a car making power . It will help push those tires firm on the ground so one can put the power down and have less wheel spin.

here spoiler is only as wide as the trunk lid .... but those top corners in my opinion should be a lot rounder / bigger arc for an SC ...

this is another round duck bill type spoiler but more subtle . TwinZ started making different add-ons for the MKIV but taking consideration the overall shape of the car.... subtle but elegant add-ons. Makes the car classy instead of looking like a ricer .

maybe others need to chime in since you will need to get the likes of the majority for you to be able to get a good number of committed orders and make it worthwhile for your effort in giving the SC community good products.

am just thinking loud here ... just some ideas .. I don't know. Depending on final look and price I might try one . We will see. But seriously , what about the rear diffuser ? ... lmaol ...

Only problem that I could forsee is that it would need to cover the holes from the factory spoiler...

Also I agree with Gerry.....it should be rounded off on the corners a little bit more..

that g37 one looks perfect to me

I've been mulling over the idea of getting rid of the factory spoiler and going with a big **** since those were all the rage about a year ago. Nothing quite like being late to the party, but if you can come up with something that tickles me in just the right spot I'd definitely be interested.

To the above comments, I'm guessing that pic was just a test fit of an existing product before actual shaping, judging from the inner gap.

The main thing I'd like to see is the approximate view in the rearview mirror. I hate that the tail of the car is completely invisible (I'm 5'9"), even with the stock spoiler. Something that sticks up enough to be seen would be a good reference point, but not so high that it obstructs the view. Stylistically, I'm not sure whether or not it would be an improvement, but I'd be very interested as a "safety" feature.

APTech, saw your post on the SC300/400 Page on Facebook, is it true your looking at selling these for 300 shipped?

Also...

Will this still be flush with the widebody rear kit that some of us have? I'm curious how it'll look.. but I'm highly interested.

Default Front Lip Extension/Diffuser

What about a front lip diffuser to go along with the rear diffuser? We are glad you have a SC now!

*Too much going on with the car but a front lip diffuser would be nice
