Remove one of your cats, and replace with a pipe.

You could even gut the remaining one, to make power while staying legal.

If your car is OBDII(96 and newer), they just check computer codes around where I live and visually check for a cat converter. No tailpiper sniffer. So no codes, means you pass.

OBD I(1975 to 1995) around where I live they stick a sniffer up your tailpipe and visually check for a cat converter. I don't know if a gutted cat car would pass the sniffer.

Anyways, I say just leave all that emissions stuff alone if its working right and leave your car stock unless you are planning a 2JZ turbo build.

what does BFI stand for?

My SC came with an Injen Short Ram Intake, as well as the factory box.

is the "BFI" more efficient?
