William....its a flex-a-lite remote cooler. Usable as an oil or tranny cooler. The diminsions are 10.5" x 15" x 4". They have a smaller one that is 7.5" x 12" x 3". I hope to have a chance to install this weekend.

Thanks Gadget....What are the dimensions of the cooler itself without the fan? Do you know how it compares to the B&M cooler with electric fan?

BTW...very nice setup you've got ..I like the fact that you pay close attention to details...

...Thanks William...its nice when somone notices the details.

The actual cooler dimensions are 10.5 x 12 " with a 10.5" fan.
I looked at the B&M coolers and they have a nice looking product...their largest cooler was slightly smaller than the flex-a-lite. The B&M 's dimensions are 13.5" x 9" x 3" with a 9.5" fan. The B&M also comes with the 1/2" NPT fittings to run your lines...the flex-a-lite does not

Anyway I found a nice spot for it today.....did a test fit on the passenger side front bumper area. It just fit.

Finally had the chance to take a pic of my tranny cooler. Unfortunately its so well hidden away that its tough to get a goo shot of it. I mounted it in front of the passenger side wheel well behind the bumper. Its angeled up into the engine compartment. I have found an added benefit to this location. The fan blows quite alot of air into the compartment right into the intake filter
Here's the pic

I cant say that there has been any improvement in my tranny shifting any better, so I will be upgrading to a built auto this winter.
I was so impressed by the tranny cooler that I went for a flex-a-lite 210 radiator fans and a Fluidyne
I wasted alot of time with the included (non-working) thermistat. It just didnt work. I have it on a relay and operates whenever the car is on. I also have a slight oscillation in the fan thats only noticable while at idle but no too bad. They do move quite alot of air. The fluidyne is also impressive. While troubleshooting the bad thermistat.....I had to run the car with no fans on. The car would not get hot enought to overheat. Very Nice.

Nothin' like shiny new toys, eh?
The amount of air that fan for the trans cooler moves is impressive, gadget had me stick my hand in front of it and it was blowing tons of air right onto the SMF. Also, the amount of room the 210 fans create is enough of a benefit in itself IMO, notice how you can see alot of the splash guard under the engine now?

Wow that engine looks great! I love the polished manifold and other misc things. I have been debating on getting the fans, because i didnt know how much air they could actually put through the engine. But with this write up and the great snaps i think im gonna have to buy them...

Gadget, your engine bay looks awesome. I think it is the CLEANEST NA-T SC300 I have seen. Keep up the great work. BTW, which built auto are you going with? Boostlogic or SP? Also, your radiator, I don't see any support brackets on the top...Is it being held in by the bottom support and both radiator hoses?

looks great man
