SC400 Plastic at bottom of the door
I'm new to ClubLexus so if I'm posting in the wrong area or not following stickies I apologize.
I have a 1998 SC400 whose previous owner neglected. At the bottom of the doors, the thin plastic strip has discolored from the beautiful pearl white, into kinda of a tan. I've tried scrubbing and elbow grease, but can't get it clean. Is there any tips and tricks to getting it to look nice, or am I better off just painting it?

The plastic parts age different than the metal, this is quite common. Dark colors hide it but come with their own problems, like heat/uv related clearcoat failure. You could try to get them repainted, though matching white is notoriously difficult, you might end up worse off than you are now

Dude,
You have two options. One is to find a close-match with either Krylon Fusion or SEM paints, for plastic. SEM-brand is more likely to produce a closer match, but neither brand will be exact. You would then do the prep and spray yourself. The second option is to remove the piece and have it professionally sprayed; it shouldn't be too much, but you'll likely find price-quotes all over the map.
Good luck
