Car-95 sc400 99000 miles original struts/springs.

I am changing strut assemblies in a week or so and looking for recommendations for coil springs. I am going to be using the KYB Excel G/GR struts. I'm looking to lower the car a small amount. Less than an inch and looking to keep a nice ride but with better handling. With the struts I'll be replacing any bushings, etc that I notice worn out.

This is my first Lexus so I'm open to any and all advice, tips, tricks.
