Dumb Question about OEM Rear Bumpers..
Hi Guys,
I've searched Google, and even pulled up different bumpers on ebay but I can't for the life of me tell if there is any difference between the 92-96 OEM rear bumper and the 97+ OEM rear bumper.
Can somebody please chime in here? My apologies if this question has been answered and is right under my nose...

Yes, they are very different.
Pre 97 = 1 piece bumper
97+ = bumper + 2 side pieces that run along the car
97+ also extends lower and in my opinion looks way better
You really can't tell the difference?

I really can't, but now that u mention the two side pieces I do notice that now.

I've noticed, too, that on the 97+ bumpers the upper center section between the taillights is 1-1.5 cm wider than the earlier models. Doesn't look terrible for a DD, but makes it very difficult to get the taillights lined up with the mounting holes.
