Default 1997 SC300 Lowering Spring Help!

I'm about to buy a '97 SC300 and I want to lower it. I'm not trying to spend $700 on coilovers so lowering springs is my option. Any brands you guys suggest? Also should I buy shocks/struts? I want to drop 2" all around.. Thanks!!

By the time you buy new shocks, springs, and new dust covers, you could probably afford a cheap set of Tein basic coilovers. However, if you're dead set on lowering springs, I'd recommend Eibach, H&R, or Espiler (if you can find them).

For shocks, I'd look into Bilstein or Tokico blues. I run a set of blues with espiler springs on my car and it rides tight, but comfy as OEM. It's difficult to describe, but I like it.

Installing suspension is not the easiest task on the front of cars. You'll have to disconnect the UCA for clearance.
