Back at it... Driving an SC again with some cool ideas
Well im back... Its been a few years since I've been in an SC. Unfortunate circumstances [My 09' GS350 getting stolen] made me hop back into an SC and since I've never owned a 400 and my local craigslist had a 95 Red with Black interior 400 I jumped at the chance for a project since I got out of the game and I missed modding.
I should be turning this until a build thread as soon as I have something to show off. The car is a bit rough around the edges but I think I have a pretty solid idea of what I want to do and what it'll take to get me there. This is the way I'm heading...
* Fix tilt on the steering wheel.
* Clean and detail the interior.
* Tint Windows
* Upgrade Lighting Interior and Exterior
* Install Double DIN, Head Unit and Upgrade Speakers
* Get an inspection and start repairs.
* Go wheel shopping.
* Dial in suspension and handling.
* Get aero, fit and install.
* Paint the car.
* Upgrade and add modern touches and finishes.
* Source parts for and install a CD009 Manual Swap
Maybe in the far future ill Swap to a newer UZ swap or do something cool like tune the current motor.
After driving a newer car for a while I miss some conveniences like push button start, plush interior, navigation and premium sound. But while driving that car I missed sportiness and a third petal. With this car I want the best of both worlds. I hope with the build I can be as detailed as possible so I can contribute.
