Default bracket above the TPS hitting strut bar

This may be CA specific, but I it's a bracket holding 2 hoses and the diaphragm thing, does anyone know what that is? It is not clearing my strut bar which is made for SC, but seems like they didn't test fit on every SC model out there.

I think things can work without the bracket just wondering if anyone have experience.

It just covers a screw connected the the throttle that works with the throttle opener. As long as the screw doesn't hit the strut bar it's not really needed.

What year is your SC SC3coupe? I test fit a Cusco on my 97 and I had the same issue as you.

Mine is 93, the manufacturer of my bar (GTSepc) show a picture that clears the same bracket by a good 1cm at least, but mine touches before even bolting down?

I finally got that bracket out it was tough... I bought Japanese standard screw driver and still stripped the screw on the left, it was on there TIGHT even with impact driver it wasn't coming out. Luckily I was able to loosen the screw on the right side that went into the diaphragm thing. Then I lift the bracket towards the left and that loosened the screw. (and, this should be the order to tackle this issue, instead of spending that much time on the left side screw)

I am going to try to fit the bar again soon. Did you have to add 6 washers for the cusco?
