Sc400 won't start, New fuel pump

Hey guys I have a 92 SC400 and two days ago I was driving when suddenly the car shut off and would not restart. I noticed the fuel pump was silent and determined that to be the cause of the problem. So yesterday I install a brand new fuel pump and the car starts right up, after about 15 minutes of driving same problem happens as the car dies and will not start. Again the fuel pump is silent like it's not getting any power. Any idea as where to start so I can find what's causing this problem. Thanks in advance

check if those fuel pumps will run with direct battery power just to see if they are still good or are dead... then check your fuel pump ECU behind rear driver side panel.

Usually when a fuel pump goes out your car will shake like a seizure before it shuts off cause its not getting the fuel it needs through the lines. It isn't like just turning the car off. Did that happen?

No shaking at all. It died as if I turned the key off.

When mine went bad it did the same thing. I was doing about 45 and voila it just stopped running. No bucking or sputtering.

Check for trouble codes? Jumper between +B and FP?

I'm getting code 78.

I jumped B+ and FP in the diagnostic port but that had no effect , Fuel pump is silent like its not getting any power, The fuel pump ECU mod was done about two years ago. I'm going to check all the wires leading up to the pump tomorrow
