Whats this sc worth? 1 of 17 RSP sc400

Hello, does anyone know what these RSP sc400's worth? It's a 1 of 17 Black interior, rsp exterior. All original except rims and a touch screen radio. Currently it's a little rough but i really want to restore it completely. 180,000 miles on the odometer.

What year?

Right. What year? Looks like 97+ tail lights.

The color is fantastic.

RSP only went on SC's from 97-98.

If it's a 97, and in good shape (no rips in leather, no leaks/squeals, exterior in solid condition) it's realistically worth $5k to the average buyer, maybe $6k to someone who knows what it is.
If it's a 98, with the VVT-i motor you could find someone willing to drop $8k-$9k on it due to rarity and desirability.

^ I agree with this. (I'm a previous 97 RSP/Black SC300 owner)

Quick newb question. Wth does RSP stand for and what's special about it? Always wanted to ask.

It's special because it's rare and many love the color.

I have been "stalking" Sc's for years, I have yet to see one on the streets.

thanks for the info!

it's a 1997 sc400 royal sapphire pearl with Black interior.

I think Nissan Altima every time I look at that color. I'm curious if the same would hold true seeing it in person.

Ali SC3 01-20-15 11:31 AM

Not at all like an Altima, In person it reflects purple in some light and blue in other light, its an amazing color like the rest of the toyota/lexus that end in *pearl* it has extra layers of paint.
Doesn't drive the value up on an SC as much as a supra.

A couple of RSP Supra's would pull a premium one week before race wars.

Yeah, I can tell it's nothing like the Altima. I know the blue he's speaking of as well. The altima had a regular blue. Could tell it didn't have many layers. Very basic.

I'd love to find a 98 RSP. I almost bought an 04 g35 coupe instead of this Sc, (& was cheaper with 88k, that had black interior. I always hated tan.... But if I had the $$$ now, I'd buy this one, throw a vvt-I engine from a Gs400, do the manual swap at the same time. Or find one that's a decent shell & swap my engine, mods and 5spd in. Such a gorgeous car. My new favorite for the 400s, as far as factory color.
