I don't want to use a tire bigger than a 255. I'm not making a ton of power, and drifting on anything wider than a 255 will get expensive fast, not to mention be over kill. I would sooner go to a stickier compound than a wider tire.

But I only need like another 10mm or so, so if I decide against doing over fenders I will do something like this.

Dang Obee, that's wide!! I like that one though. Done right. I had mine cut and pulled instead of rolled to accommodate my rear wheels/tires. Having the whole car resprayed...Should be completed by mid January or so. I will attach a pic when it is done and the wheels back on.

^^ You know what, that is another option. Just have it sectioned and flared. I may try that as well.

The same reason you put wheels bigger than 16 inch on your car.
Because you can and you want to.

your pulled fenders probably already gave you 30-35mm of extra room so going to a 50mm widebody will only give you 15mm of extra room.
heres a shot with 1 18x12+20 265/35/

this is k&m 50mm with 18x12+20

and this is 18x12 +20 with a 25mm spacer 275/35

I never understood why people run wide rims with a tiny tire....IMO super stretched tires look dumb and to top it of it is really dangerious....
I was coming to post exactly what you did.

I don't see why people think this looks good???

Nothing looks better than a perfect fitting meaty tire on a wide wheel. It's looked good forever, and will continue long after the "stanced" fad is gone.

considering that he is drifting i dont think he cares. especially since you have to replace your tires a hell of a lot more often when your drifting as well. which gets pricey real quick. so i dont blame him. but i love how your car looks. most stock SCs and even modified ones look like yours, but for some reason yours look 10x better even tho its just as beat up as any other drift car.

That's a good pull, did you seperate the inner fender from the outter to get that pull?

Some people love fat chicks, who am I to poo poo that. But if you have some big tire fitment to contribute that would be great as well, I like it all.
