Check on ebay for the maf.I seen one the other day on there for the SC,can't remember if it was for the 300 or 400 though.I think it came with a 1 yr. warranty.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know what the problem was. The left ignition coil went out, which causes the engine to be running basically on 4 cylinders instead of 8. VSsc400, I would check that out first if you are experiencing the same symptons. Let me know what you find out. It cost me $183.67 with labor.

what an interesting event. If this would have been a '69 camaro, i could have said ignition coil right off the bat, but with the newer vehicles you just expect it to be a sensor sometimes. sounds like it wasn't too terrible of a repair bill, and most importantly .... it is running again. glad to hear you are back strait .

I'm still waiting for the fuel pump to come in.
If it is ignition coil can I get some aftermarket ignition coil to replace it?

Not sure man! They replaced mine with a lexus stock one, which I am fine with at this point. The other side is the same, and I thought I didn't want any possible differences between the two sides. On another note, you will notice that if you drive it with a bad coil, replace it and then drive again, it will run weird because of all the unburnt fuel that was sent through the exhaust system. It will take a while for it to fully burn back out, and to be honest I'm not sure it totally will, but I'll know soon.
I'll let everyone know.
