Aftermarket seats
I just bought a 1993 SC400
with factory seats that are torn up and look awful
. I purchased some off brand "racing seats" to get me by until i can afford some name brand seats. These seats didnt come with brackets so i need to make some (not going to pay for brackets.) Has any one made brackets for their SC? If so can you post pictures of them?

Done this with several cars. You can just do like the pic, disassemble factor rails. Bolt rails to car (without seat), weld them to a flat bar stock. Remove rails, align rails to new seat and weld them together. It really is super easy. Just be sure to cover EVERYTHING with fire resistant fabric or something. I set my RX7 carpet on fire with minimal damage a few years back doing this.

I love them. cost me a Grand took 3 mos to get them
To me they'er worth it just 4 the weight reduction alone
