I didn't want to mess with the preload just because they don't recommend.(Ive done before on other cars I've had)And also what they were going to do to fix my problem. Like I said I hope the new dampers will fix it.

Looking at the video on the soft setting it doesn't feel like 18ks at all.

On the spring rates. Pbm has stickers with different colors on the very bottom the springs. The color indicates the spring rate. So loosened my front ones and found a pink color sticker.

Just sent them an email to see what my spring rate is.

Love how you car sits by the way! Were you on the hardest setting most of the time? Your wheels sat pretty close to the fenders so im just curious what your settings were.

I have PBMs and the ride is super smooth with new bushings and stuff. But I find them to be a bit too soft on the track. I'm thinking about Swift Springs if a new sway bar doesnt firm things up.

the pink = 18k springs so I really hope dampers will be the fix the issue.

I wish pbm had 20k in stock. ill get me some Swift springs later... I want to try 20/14

Man, I have no idea what mine are. I was talking to Big Wave and he said not to bother with stiffer springs. He said an aftermarket sway bar fixed things for him. But then again this is a double wishbone car so I have to keep in mind it wont ride like a McPherson. But 26/18 seems like it would be good.

Something wrong with PBMs. My D2s on full soft at 15/9 have ZERO play. Force the car up and down and the only movement is tires.

got the new dampers in... put them on and it feels a bit stiffer.

I compared to my buddy's 92 sc300 with Ksports. This is embarrassing. His on half way feels stiffer than mine and mine is all the way stiff. WTF.

I've had my PBM's for about 3 years, and it rode really great with my 19" wheels. Used to drive it from San Diego to Los Angeles at least once month and it was great. But when I switched to my 17" Supra MKIV wheels for daily use, that's when I started feeling like I'm riding on cut springs. Real horrible and teeth gritting, if I drive it for a few hours around the city, my back hurts like a *****. I think the diameter of the wheels is affecting your ride, since you're still on stockies.
