road trip in sc4
i plan on driving my sc400 from Indiana to Cali. the car has 105K miles. anything i should do to the car before driving it on this long trip..i plan on making a few stops. its about 2500 miles.
Take plenty of Gas money.
Average cost out here in California for 93 premium is about $2.15/gal. And that's in the Central Valley.
The Bay and LA area is usually higher.

2.20 down in San Diego.... insane
basically do a 90k service or something before you leave, carry extra food and water incase you get stranded, blankets... crap like that thats gonna help ya if something goes wrong, who cares if your car blows up... as long as you're ok
and carry the spare and a can of fix a flat or something- flats often comes in twos... or 4s
good luck! and honestly, consider shipping- 500 bucks shipping isnt that much when you consider how much gas and lodging will cost you while you're on the trip
and OMG I cannot stress having a hot girl next to you... they make trips like that fun!!!

to add to that.
Tranny flush, radiator flush, check wipers, tire pressure, map, cell phone, AAA card, jumper cables(or one of those instant starter things), atlas and local maps of destinations, comfortible shoes, paper towels or tissues, make sure your windshield wiper fluid is full, check your lights, spare fuses, basic tool set(sears 129 piece type), road flares or lights. Thats all i can think of now.

thanx a lot for the help. but wooowowowow, gas is $2 and up, here its about 1.87, i was thinking it was high prices here, i feel luck to have such low gas prices. im going to san diego, im thinking about college there, not too sure yet. im going to visit the dealer and have them check out everything for me, im pretty sure something is wrong with my sc because, some days it drives nice and it feels pretty fast. others it fells like there is no power at all, it feels very slow.
