Default Are these rims real or fake?

I bought the car with the rims like this. Thought it was original then noticed how it felt like it was just spray painted chrome... I went to Discount Tire Co. to get new tires, due to the fact that one of them was flat (and they were all different brands), when the guy informed me that it wasn't really the tire, but the rim. The rim rusted on the inside and always made the tire deflate. We were going to get some new rims soon (using the spare in the meantime) but still wondered if these rims were legit:

I rather ride on oem wheels than those.

What wheels you planning on getting?

Haha... Those actually are the new tires... Three of them are that kind, while the other is my spare.

I rather have those than the previous ones. The guys before me bought tires at some sketchy used tires place for $35 each. They were all different brands and made the car feel bumby all the time. That's why we got new ones.

My car came with aftermarket chromies with one of them having a bad seal, same as yours. The tires were very good, though. I replaced the setup with OEM Lexus wheels with so-so tires and am waiting to wear them down before switching the good tires over from the other wheels. It's always a good reminder just how much of a difference in road feel a quality tire in good shape can make! I need a torque converter upgrade so I can burn 'em up quicker.

Those are definitely remnants of the mid-late 90's wheel game...

Naw man not talking about your tires, im talking about the wheels (rims). I like the stock wheels/rims more then those old school chromes.

Whatever your plan on getting they must be better looking then those.

At least youll have spares or wheels you can use to off road or something.

Ah well thanks! Yeah I'm trying to find the perfect rims though. Gotta get to the point where it isn't regular stock rims, but not bad looking dou*e rims. You know?
