If you had to part with your SC What would you get?

FSU, that's one nice looking Lude there. Makes me yearn for my '97 Prelude again- that's actually the reason I bought my first '92 SC. Some dumbass off his face on pain pills took me out. Grrr.
As far as a replacement goes, that's difficult. I've had a 93 Z, a Scooby WRX, Audi S4 and a few others. I'd probably replace it with a 928S4, and spend forever griping about the repair bills.
I'm looking into an Eclipse or another Audi for my DD. If you've read my thread on living in Des Moines with a RWD car, then you know of my driving adventures. Need something with AWD, and I really don't want to chance someone taking me out in bad weather.

Thanks bro! Yeah...my Prelude is clean and fixed up pretty nicely....I am a big Volk's fan so running some GT-N's on the Lude and am still deciding between some new Volk's, Work, or SSR for my SC400.
I have always loved the SC's and they have so much potential...I got tired of my BMW 7 series and all of the headaches that come with BMW's so when I saw my current SC I jumped on it.
My old BMW was super clean though...its just the computers and electronics I hated on that car

Having almost gotten my SC to where I want it, parting with it now would be a tragedy. Need to enjoy it for a while and was going to go from once a week to two days for the trip to work but with the gas prices hiking up of late not in so much of a hurry.
If money was no object and I did not care about reliability, likely an Aston Martin DB9 or Vanquish.
Reality wise, a Porsche Caymen S (a few years old) was on the list before I decided to enhance the SC.
The idea of enhancing our cars to something you want is appealing. Anyone can go to a car lot and drive off with a new car but so can a thousand other people - what I have seen on these threads are mostly unique and reflects everyone's various tastes and budgets. Just wheels alone is an adventure and there are a lot of choices all of which look great on the SCs.

If I had to replace it with something similar, I would only replace it with an FD and eventually get an engine swap. My friend has an FD with a LS1 and it rustles my jimmies in all the right places.

I have a 5th gen Prelude also that is my daily driver..I have had it for many years and that thing is so reliable and requires minimal work...great car..208K miles and still going strong and looks like new still!
I will buy a 911 or GTR when it finally dies and I will make my SC my daily driver.

mine seems to need work once a month or so...
but then again I put about 3000 miles on it a month.
and I drive it like I stole it! just turned 200k yesterday. owned it for the past 80000 miles.
it even has the ****ty automatic trans! cant believe it lasted this long!
