1995 sc300 fog lights dont fit with 93 bumper ?
I have to do a brake and lamp test to get a new licence plate . I have a sc300 95 and picked up a sc400 bumper from year 93 when I went to put the 93 fog lights in the light bulb and plug not matching up and 95 fog lights wont fit in the bumper so now what ?

Now, you thank God for owning a 95 SC instead of a 92-94 which would've required you to modify the wiring extensively to have functional fog lights instead of cornering lights, such as this:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...og-lights.html
And you would proceed to choose between two options:
#1. Pick up a 95-96 bumper.
#2. Wire/solder the new "cornering lights" (93 fogs) to city lights (small lights in the middle of headlight) or to existing wirings for the fogs, into your 93 bumper.
Keep in mind that 92-94 cornering lights do not have the same beam pattern compared to that of 95-96 fog lights due to nature of their application. 92-94 cornering lights would shine sides/diagonally instead of forward, like the 95-96 fogs.
Obviously, option #1 would be plug and play but it'll cost much more than the option #2, which requires a bit of wiring.
But it seems like most of your concerns derives from incompatibility of wire connections between different model years. Which leads me to believe that you should have someone with automotive knowledge/experience complete the job.
Good luck and post pictures when finished!

Hey bro, I had the same problem. I bought a 95 SC that had front end damage and when I repaired it with a 94 bumper, the 95 fog lights wouldn't fit. So I went on EBay and bought a pair of 92-94 fogs for $38 for the pair. Just keep shopping on ebay, you will find them.

So I thought up something. I still have the 95 bumper skin it is damaged but I think it can still bolt on so ill throw it on and do the brake and lamp then slap back on the 92-94 bumper with no fogs. Im planning on taking bumper off anyway to put in ac condenser and lines even tho I think I can do without taking bumper off but would be easier

they are slightly different, 92094 are cornering lamps without the line in the middle, 95-96 are fogs with a line going down the middle to match the bumper. Just use the physical fogs that will fit the bumper and then rewire the connector on the car or get a little adapter harness online from one bulb type to the other, or get a 95 bumper.
