Default 12 disc changer won't eject

So I just bought a very clean Renaissance Red 96 400 SC with only 95k miles on it, and I'm taking care of the minor details...

Here's the issue - The eject button on the changer is constantly illuminated, and also seems stuck ie I can't press it down, nor does it release up. Also, the changer magazine hasn't risen to the eject position to remove it. Help! The entire system works well, but the previous owner left 12 CD's in here that just don't cut it for me...and radio sucks!

Also, my power antenna won't go down...yet the motor runs each and every time I turn the radio on or off. That sound is annoying LOL. I will replace it down the road, but are there any easy tricks to lowering it and keeping it lowered?

I had the same problem. Try this. Cut the radio off, push your cd charger door to the open position. You will need to push down the on the cd magazine a few times, then push the magazine in while pulling up? It took me a few times to work it loose, and afterwards I used a lil lube on the rollers to keep it from getting stuck again? try and it and see what happens?

CD's are probably just stuck they are old so it takes awhile to get them to play or eject. Open it up and see if its stuck and you probably need to help it out a bit and move a cd with a finger.

The antenna is most likely your antenna mast and it will need to be replaced with a new one or you can buy a aftermarket stub antenna. to keep it down you have to simply un-clip the wiring to the antenna while its down and radio is off.

It could also be that the Cd is stuck/ half way in half way out. You'll have to slide the disc back (in or out.). In order for the cartridge compartment to raise up. If your able to fix and use space the Cd's every other slot making it a 6 cartridge holder. Here are some other ideas for fixing in the link below.
