Will this work? Aristo jdm 2jzgte with a 1jz ecu and harness?
Helping a friend put a 2jzgte in his already 1jz sc300. Can we drop in the single turbo 2jzgte and use his 1jz harness and ecu that is already in the car?

Setup:
-aristo 2jzgte
-r154 manual
-t61 single turbo setup
-550cc usdm injectors
- map ecu 2 or 3 still need to purchased it.


I'm thinking all We have to do is wire in a resistor box to run the usdm 550cc right? Also Will the 1jz batch fire injector setup be a issue?

Is all the sensors the same pnp?

Btw the 1jz motor set is sold and long gone already so no turning back. lol

There is no benefit using the 1jz ecu on 2jzgte lol, backwards buddy.

2jz ecu is better..

But yes you can run the 1jz ecu and harness...

Of course theres a benefit!
It slows him down and lets the rest catch up

Well the reason why I'm using then 1jz harness and ecu is because it's already in the car and for sure was running. So instead of buying a new extended harness from tweak and buying a 2jz ecu the plans was to just drop the 2jzgte in with 1jz electronics and buy some sort of piggy bank to tune it.

Anyone else able chime in here? Thanks
