Found this 97' RSP SC3 w/ 160K miles and a stock black interior. I want to save her from the grave, but I'm wondering what you guys think she's worth. Any ideas? Thanks ;)

id say $500

hopefully its only a bent knuckle, and a couple fenders and a door to fix

RWDorGTFO Oct 24, 2013 09:56 PM

yea technically it is, due to the parts alone

you can sell the black interior, 97 kit, 97 lights and misc items, but ask anyone that's done it, it takes time and its a major pain in the ass.

Ask the guy how much he wants for it, lowball and work with his new number, is it auto?

Too hard to say without better pictures. That left side took a good hit. Can't tell but maybe rear quarter panel damage on left side. If it was maintained well with records, and not many owners I'd say up to but not exceeding $1000. But the interior has to be very very clean, as that's where you will make most of your money back if it doesn't turn out well.

Right side fender looks like you'll just need a new one resprayed, left door, left fender, and whatever the wheel problem is....hopefully it's not terrible. The rims are original so that's a good sign it's been in good hands all these years.

Buy it, just for the prestige, and bring it back to life. If not, tell me where I can buy it :D

If she runs, 1k is the highest id go too..maybe $1500. Just parting it out can earn a return!

Depends if it runs and what transmission it has, i'd say 1k auto 1.5k 5 speed in case the damage is extensive you would be bale to recoup. worth saving.

That's too much damage in my opinion and it looks like crap. I'd pay no more than $500.

I see it's missing a lower door molding on the passenger side too.

If it runs buy it, my car wasn't that bad, but i don't know about that wheel, that's the biggest issue

if it has no quarter panel damage, its worth $1000 tops.

new fender, new door, new suspension, work the hood and paint. 97 RSP, if the title is not salvage It's worth more than the usual wrecked SC and worth restoring.

Wheel_Man Oct 25, 2013 01:25 PM

I've decided I don't want it. He wants too much for it because it's "RSP" w/ a Blk. interior.
He can keep it.
