Ouch accident in my sc, Saved the 1jz, need body work opinions
Well this was one hell of a day but not a total loss. 
Was driving about 75 mph with the rest of the traffic and this hwy eventually leads up to red lights, and of course before the red lights there are warning signs and reduced speed limits.
Because of a festival that town was having the traffic came to a standstill way before any warning signs and right before a curve. So everyone who was doing 75 mph and about to go around that same curve was in for a rude awakening and this is where everyone slammed their brakes. The two cars in front of me had already hit each other, and with a rather quick decision I chose to swerve off the road.
Unfortunately the grass was wet and going downhill so there was no stopping. I was able to counter steer and throw the rear out to hit the trees on the side of the road. So no front end damage for me, I wasn't hurt, and my engine set up is fine. No ticket for hitting someone either.
But my rear end isn't looking so good
The exhaust is pretty messed up and no longer clamped correctly to my downpipe.
Rear bumper, passenger tail light, and trunk is ruined,
The quarter panel is pretty dented in.
Unfortunatly I only have liability, so i'm going to have fun fixing this one.
Has any ever gotten a dent like that popped out?
What do yall think this will run me?
Would I be better off buying another sc and doing a swap again

Popped the dent out using a hydraulic pusher thanks to gerrb on post #17 second page

Chris , glad you are ok. Is that on GA 316 ? That seems to me workable / repairable. Send me more pictures of the dented areas on my phone. Let's meet in my place in Duluth one day and I will help you out. We might be able to push that damn thing out with my hydraulic puller / pusher. I have an extra rear bumper , trunk lid and older rear lights.
You have my number .. send me more pictures of those damage area exterior and from inside the trunk so I could determine how we can pull / push it out...

Sorry for your loss man. I would have done the same thing in your shoes. You saved the most important thing, the front half and yourself. Be glad to be able to walk away and tell us about it. I would allow Jerry to come over and let him share his thoughts and concerns. He has a crap load of parts. Lets hope nothing is bent bad enough. Keep us posted.

dayum! that sucks. it's goanna take some work to get that fixed. best way if you have the monies have a body shop deal with that. if you goanna do it yourself and have the right tools. you're goanna need a replacement taillight,trunk, and bumper. drill out the spot welds and cut out the section(s) you need off of another SC (or use patch panels but theres alot of curves there that sure is in a bad spot) and butt-weld them on and hope things line up. the body shop will have to do the same thing.
on a side note: i've been messing with this stuff called "lab-metal" which is better than filler/bondo but it sets really fast.
