I have looked for awhile now and I can't find much info about the stock hp numbers on this engine. They say about 280hp at the crank, but that is with the japanese gentleman's agreement which is responsible for notoriously underrated power ratings. Does anyone know the true stock hp for this engine?

I read on another forum that its around 290 whp, but obviously they make alot more power once you turn up the boost.

Darn so no here knows either? I guess when I install mine, I need to cough up the dough for a baseline dyno run.

with a front mount and free flowing slightly larger exh , at stock boost we base lined approx 300 rwhp ( i believe his number was a tad low because unknown to me at the time owner for car added some race fuel which if not tuned for will lower hp abit )

Awesome lexforlife that is what I was looking for. I wouldn't think the exhaust would add much since it wasn't tuned for the more free flowing exhaust anyway would it?

Do you have the dyno sheet / chart for the stock 300whp run? I haven't been able to find one online. I spent a bit of time scouring charts online.
