Default Need Help with Dreadful Electrical Issue!!

So I'm having a hard time solving the cause of my malfunctioning dome light on my 1992 SC400. Here is what I have checked and confirmed.

Power to 10A Dome fuse
Power to both Reading/Courtesy Lights & working
Power to both vanity mirror lights & working
Power to glove box light & working
Power to Trunk light & working
No power to door footwell light
No power to dome light with door open or with dome light switch in the "on" position.
Door Ajar light comes on in dash when door open & green key switch light does illuminate and turn off when doors close & lock.

Would my problem lie with the door switch inside the door? I'm stumped because I don't have a clue to where my problem might be. I would appreciate a sense of direction so I don't go tearing my car apart in every direction. Thanks!

So your Dome/Map light does NOT work at all even with the switch in both the "ON" and "Door" position? If so, I would check that. It's possible the wire connector to it could be dirty and it may have a domino effect such as the footwell light. My other car, you disconnect the hazard switch, anything turn signal will not work, something like that. Does the passenger footwell light light up when the passenger door is open?
