CatManD3W SC300 Ongoing Build...
Got the wheel and hub put on and started up the car to make sure all the gauges were all functioning...
Unfortunately had a set back as I had to much gap between the hydraulic throw out bearing and the pressure plate......the clutch was not able to disengage....so had to pull it all back out and wait on the correct spacer from Clutchmasters...
I was able to drop the rear diff and transmission from the car in about 2 hrs......not having to take the bellhousing off the block makes it much easier...

Yea I was but I have taken multiple transmission in and out of my car by now so I got a pretty good system on how to do it pretty quickly......but that being said definitely a PITA.
So when you take the trans out, is it easier to leave the bellhousing still bolted to the motor? Or is it easier to have the bellhousing on the trans and then bolt the whole assembly to the motor?

It is way easier to leave bellhousing bolted to block.....you have no reason or need to take bellhousing off. I will be reinstalling the transmission tomorrow and will get some more pictures.

Everything has been good with the car so far.....been up and driving it now for about a week. The Tremec is a very mechanical feeling transmission....but that is probably a good thing....
Only complaint I have is that the clutchmasters single disk with the flywheel is very loud....i.e clutch chatter due to lightened flywheel.
