I was able to drop the rear diff and transmission from the car in about 2 hrs......not having to take the bellhousing off the block makes it much easier...

Oh my god I can't imagine the feeling....dude I bet you were so bummed out...I would've been after all that work

Yea I was but I have taken multiple transmission in and out of my car by now so I got a pretty good system on how to do it pretty quickly......but that being said definitely a PITA.

So when you take the trans out, is it easier to leave the bellhousing still bolted to the motor? Or is it easier to have the bellhousing on the trans and then bolt the whole assembly to the motor?

About the gap....for the T56 Magnums, and the Quicktime bell-housing....is it still a 0.150" clearance gap from the hydraulic throwout bearing to the pressure plate teeth?

It is way easier to leave bellhousing bolted to block.....you have no reason or need to take bellhousing off. I will be reinstalling the transmission tomorrow and will get some more pictures.

The recommended tolerance is supposed to be from 0.100 in to 0.200. The only reason why they say 0.150 is it is right in the middle.

With the new spacer behind the hydraulic throwout mine is sitting at 0.117

Which ones are you referring to? I made the custom inserts for the fog lights and purchased the 3" aluminum flange.

Everything has been good with the car so far.....been up and driving it now for about a week. The Tremec is a very mechanical feeling transmission....but that is probably a good thing....

Only complaint I have is that the clutchmasters single disk with the flywheel is very loud....i.e clutch chatter due to lightened flywheel.

I hear ya on that chatter, the best way to get it to stop is up the rpm idle to about 1k.

Awesome that it's working well so far. How is that shifter? Do you have any of that side to side "arch" kinda feel I was talking about?

No none at all...the shifts are so short with the TREMEC.

With this White Lightning shifter I did have to cut away some of the tunnel to make it work....the sikky one doesnt require any cutting that im aware of..
