Have you looked/driven the Sc personal? What year how many miles and if it's in excellent condition I would say yes.

No I haven't seen it in person or driven it just window shopping. It's a 93 and 223k miles. And it does look like it's in pretty excellent condition. 2 owner. I just realized it didn't post the link but i'll post a picture.

From the pictures it looks very clean, but with 223k miles I would test drive and check the Sc maintenance records for any major parts that might need to be replaced. Any parts needed to be replaced, deduct from sellers price.

Just for reference for you....I bought my 92 5spd with 169K for $2500 .....the interior and paint are not quite as nice as that one but pretty close...He will never get the asking price with that many miles

So the seller wants $5900 for the '93 Sc. Personally that price is too high. I know it's rare seeing its a stick, but the mile count is high and you have not witnessed the Sc personally (assuming its a long drive) I would be skeptical that there are no common problems/issues that are found with older Sc models.

If I were to buy that SC, it would be an emotional deal. $5900 is too much IMO. I wouldn't pay more than $3300. It is in really good shape but the miles are too extensive.

Thanks for the reference! I'm looking for a 97+ sc300 5spd. Unfortunately I don't see any for sale around my area.

Ok, thanks guys.. I will keep a look out for another one. I thought it was kind of weird when the guy mentioned he doesn't wanna sell it but doesn't have to sell it. Kind of got me thinking if he doesn't wanna sell it and doesn't have to, why sell it? But then he said something about 1 body 3 cars so I'm thinking he has 3 cars for him to drive.

That is crazy high for that description, i sold my 92 with roughly the same condition as this (mine had a bit worse paint) sold it for 4. I would say this one should be right about the same neighborhood.

Thanks, and wow.. I didn't know they made so little. There was a white one for sale like a month ago that was sold before I saw the ad a month later. It had like 289,000 miles! and he wanted 5200obo for it. It looked pretty nice as well.

Buy and older SC300 from 92 - 95 and do a 97+ body conversion if you really like the look of the 97+ style.

Personally anything over 200K i wouldnt pay more than 3K for it
