You can do it man. If not just get some over fenders. Even if you had stretched smaller tires that would have been way too much poke for even a pulled quarter to handle. But keep in mind when you lower that the rear will camber quite a bit, but yeah either flares or over fenders are in order.

But interested to see how your metal work comes out!

Ok if anyone knows where to buy flares or overfenders id like to know

spent the whole day on the fenders but they still rub going over hard bumps, might leave them and start looking for over fenders/flares

on a side note the response from the people that see the car is cool

You could make your own fender flares

And for the fronts i would extend the fenders like these guys...
Fast Forward to about 2:30

Still keeps the lines of the SC I know your a diy type of guy and this looks like it could be really fun

joey thanks for the links man ,those aussie guys were cool, i liked how they widened the front fenders, never seen that before.

ive got the fenders so they dont rub except on big bumps if im going fast, I think I can live with it for now, i actually never got into cutting and welding im still on the oem metal i just pounded the hell out of it for two days lol.

I might keep it like this for now and then start figuring out what my next step is, the main thing is its summer time and I wanna start enjoying it.

Jadu that looks sexy man,,is that vertex ridge?

bored so posting a little update , wheels no longer rub, it was either this or buy some universal plastic fender flares, ill run it like this till I locate some 50mm over fenders.

Its nowhere near done yet , still a lot of sanding and bondo work to get it to where it looks more like a shop job and less of a driveway job, its almost there though.
