I was wondering what the car would like from the beginning. When he sent me all these pictures, I didn't realize just how good it did look. I already have someone wanting some parts. LOL.. He text me yesterday and told me the car fired right up, and he moved it outside in the driveway with the title in the floorboard. I just cant say how much I appreciate him for doing this. I cant express this gratitude enough.

It is indeed. Gerrb picked it up today and he was astonished of the shape it was in. It was just going to be parted out by me but after Jerry and I conversation, we made a deal. It made more sense for him to get it since he was so close. I gave him the car for a new MKIV TT Auto LSD rear end. The car had a bad motor but a good tranny and an ok interior. I have to give a special thanks to Alvin who gave it to me. If you are reading this, I say thank you a bunch. It is in good hands now.

Damn Mark , I just saw this thread today. Indeed , Alvin is a really nice guy.

Car is in good running condition, everything works . The only problem was really one of the coils. It so happened that the coils Alvin bought were also bad so he thought it was the engine.

I won't hesitate to drive this car anywhere even to the West Coast..... very reason why I never parted it out . It has a clean carfax. No history of accidents. It had been parked for the past 8 months and only started every week just to get the fluids flowing around and the battery not dying prematurely. When I am done with my other projects , am thinking of restoring this as stock 1uzfe and getting it painted.

I am glad it is in good hands. I have enjoyed the new rear end, but I just didn't have the room to have another SC sitting in the driveway, although my son would have loved it now since he got his license.

I wonder if Alvin has even seen this thread. I highly doubt it since he no longer has an SC. I was so grateful that he called me and gave me the car. I have never seen this thing with my own eyes, but i take your word for it, in the shape you say it is in. I do know the rear end look like brand new when I received it. Saved me 2700 from the Toyota/Lexus dealer, I assure you.

Thanks Gerrb/Gerry for doing the trade and working things out with me. I wish others could benefit as I did on this one.
