Default Sorry Mr T and Goldfinger, no more gold badges . .

So I always hated the gold badges on my 92 SC300. Finally got around to ordering some new chrome ones from the dealer. And I will say even the adhesive Lexus used on the emblems is quality, it was a real fight to get the old ones off. I ended up breaking the old LEXUS and SC300 script trying to get them off, but no paint damage.

After:

Much nicer, plus the wheels help as well lol.

Still gotta get the gold off the antenna base, always another project. BTW how do you get that part off, I'm assuming you have to go through the trunk and take the antenna out.

Nice touch, I agree with you man. I've never been a fan of the gold emblems neither! Car looks really clean, especially the headlights, etc. Noticed the wheels-looks pretty good.

Yes, the four slots are the deal. Getting it off is easy (don't scratch the paint). Putting on the new one may requires some liquid soap to make screwing it on a bit easier.

Nice....I really wish the black pearl badges weren't so pricey. I would imagine most people would have them for the right price

I can't stand the gold badges, unless you got gold rims to match or something they just look out of place. Looks good man.

You can always "go black".... On the white, silver, and my light green I think they stand out....

I thought about painting the gold ones black, even bought a can of plasti-dip and did the front one. Stuck it on with no adhesive, didn't like the look. Other than the wheels the car is 100% stock and original with 66,000 miles on it. Cleanest car I've ever owned, so I decided I'm just going to keep it pretty much to stock spec and look.

Its amazing what the change of just emblems makes on a car. Very nice indeed. Car looks super clean and very low mileage.
