Sup yall. I just bought a 1995 Pearl White SC400 with 138k miles for a great deal. Overall condition is great. Exterior has some clear coat peeling off but interior has like new leather. Engine and transmission? I'm not too sure since it's my first time purchasing a "used" car but well see as time passes.

Like the title states, I'm coming from a 2004 A-Spec Acura TL. The transmission went out on me at 136k miles so that's what pushed me over to buying a new toy. I've always wanted a rwd 2-seater so this SC400 is a perfect choice AND it's a V8, plus "Lexus" is just a sexy word. Although I wish it was a manual but hey, nothing's gonna be perfect.

Sorry I don't have any pics of my new Lexus but I do have some from my TL. There are already so many plans in my head for the SC400, if you guys have any mods that you recommend, let me know. Anyways, onto some pics..

Yes the TL trans will go, same as the CL, same as the MDX same as the Pilot, same as the Odyssey .

This is why i moved away from Acura the only cars that do not have a tranny issues are made in Japan , 2nd Gen Legend 91-95, RLs, RSX, TSX and NSX lol it's crazy.

Lol. I wish I had the money for a 5 speed swap. Maybe when the transmission goes out on the SC but for now, I might just stick with the detail.

And as in 1or2 jzgte swap...is that the Supra engine? I'm a Toyota noob.

^Correct indeed. But it was time for me to move on from the TL. Needed a RWD, 2-seater, V8 for a change.lol

I look at TLs before I bought my SC.
The 1jgte are used in mkiii supras and soarers
The 2jgte are used in mkiv supras, aristos
