Question ES to SC300 Seat Swap?

I have a 1995 SC300 and like most SC's I've seen, the seats are falling apart! I was looking at a 1994 ES300 and the seats looked to be the same size. There are only a couple of SC's in the local pick a part places near by (the seats are all toast, BIG surprise) but there are many ES's. Does anybody know if the bolts holding the seats are the same dimensions?

Search for the SEM thread where someone redid their seats to perfection for under 50 dollars I think.

But the SC seats are made for 2 doors, so I don't think these ES seats will flip forward like SC seats need to. If you dont care about having passengers in the rear then go for it lol

Go to a leather repair shop or go on ebay. There are leather or fake leather re-upholstery kits for the front seats. They start at like $200-300. Way better than ES seats.

Keep your stock seats.

If I would be redoing the seats, I would only use leather and the cheapest I saw on ebay was $700 plus $75 shipping. I'm a poor man!

$350 is not bad for new leather front seats. Just redo the front ones and leave the rears alone.

A leather repair shop would probably be cheaper. And if you SEM it yourself be prepared to redo it in a year. Maybe two if your lucky. But the SEM job does look good for dirt cheap.
