Default Telescopic Steering Wheel Extension

I've searched relentlessly throughout the forum and have yet to find a thread on this topic. I'm 6'7" and am looking into freeing up some space for my legs. (1.) By purchasing a tall bucket seat and bolting it as low as humanly possible to the floor. (2.) I want to find a way to extend my telescopic wheel so that it may clear my knees and provide a more comfortable driving experience. I know that I am not the only tall SC 300 / 400 owner on this forum so if anyone has any solutions or suggestions please help me!

6' 7" god damn good luck getting comfortable in this car.. first off I'm 6' 3" and just wanted some head room so I installed sparcos and just welded the tabs from my stock seats on to some 3/16" flat bar for the lowest mounting point as far as the telescopic extension.. not sure if you can weld but if you grab a spare steering column from a wrecking yard on the cheap you could definitely just extend the column itself at a lower poit. you'd have to go over the geometry to make sure it would extend comfortably

I'm not trying to tear any of my steering components up though. I have an all original black interior so I'm not looking to take too much away from the OEM look besides the bucket seats at the moment.

Then you're gonna have to stick with seats. I'd buy some real ones and low mounts to go with it, bride and corbeau both make some mounts that are super low and very adjustable

Well after speaking with the a guy who works for Assault Tech on the forums I have found out that it is impossible for me to buy a seat that will fit me comfortably in the shoulders that will accommodate a racing harness. Honestly yes, I do want to be able to use a harness instead of the OEM seatbelt because (1.) They're safer and (2.) They look WAY better with a bucket seat. The only solution would be to custom order a Race Tech Seat. Really put a damper in how I feel about owning my SC currently... Especially since I recently purchased the car less than two months ago.
