I took mine apart following a DIY on here and fixed the solder, now it always works up to about 50 ft away. Now I need to find out how to make the car beep while lock/unlocking like it came from factory...

yes u can
Dealer told me there is no way to replace the blade in the remote to an uncut one

I took the remote apart and took the blade out, and I cant even find an exact match online to put it together with.

the most I can find is on ebay from china and it would take some modification to fit that thing in

I really want keyless entry, specially since for some reason the door unlock on my drivers side doesnt unlock the drivers side door.

help?

I'd just get a new buttonless key cut from VIN and keep the black plastic key top as a remote "fob" dangling from the new key to open the doors.

Yeah. I've owned lots of 90s model cars ...q45t, eldorado, 300zxtt,...they all had fobs that did more than lock/unlock the door. Not a big deal but not the norm either.

In that case I would rather have a remote with more than an unlock lock button if I have it seperate from the key.

its just really nice to have that small button ON the key, its not too noticable..

For not much more than a new cut key, you can get an alarm that does all that and actually helps protect your car...

food for thought.
