Default Heated Supra seat idea?

So the sc seats, aside from weighing a ton, lack that bucket feel that I would prefer, but I love my heated seats. So supra mk4 seats will bolt right in(from what I have read here) are more comfy and lighter. Now I am thinking come tax time I can buy a set and some heating elements. I pretty much want to get the seats, tear them apart, install the heating pads and reassemble them so that I can use the sc's existing wiring and swtches. The idea came from this thread on s2ki

http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/4503...-seat-install/

What do you guys think? Worth the effort or am I going to hate life after starting the project? My main concern is the wiring from a set of random heating pads matching up with the stock wiring.

I honestly haven't looked into it...the cars are such tanks I doubt even my butt dyno would notice any difference. I am more interested in them for the comfort, as I like a little more bucket feel/bolster than the stock sc seats provide. I also live in Utah where it gets cold and would like to retain the heated seats as they are great during the initial warm up of the heater. Also I am 6'4 and a little extra head room is a plus

I think that it will be worth the effort. I'm in the same boat, love the improved comfort level of the supra seats, but I absolutely cannot live without my heated seats(which is why the sc seats are still in the car). Anyway, I'm planning to use a kit from www.heatedseatkits.com once I'm able to resolve some other financially draining issues and start modding my car again.

I don't think the loss benefit of the heated seats would be an option for me. I just don't know why there is so many that hates the stock SC. I like mine, and until I came across a like new set of TT seats super cheap, I wouldn't even consider it. The weight of them doesn't bother me, stock look is fine by me. JMO.

Wait...Supra seats weigh about 35LBs less then a SC seat correct? I love my stock SC seats, but they are ripped apart. I would replace them with something if it was as comfortable, I could keep the heat, and they looked right.
