Must remove the metal trim lining and make flush with fender to make the 275 not rub from my experience with them.

I just bought a used set of 225-40-18 Continental "extreme contact" and they are great. more grip in the rain than I had with my 285 BF Goodrich tires. they also ride very well for dailies

Do you have any rubbing problems up front?

I recommend the BFGoodrich G-Force 2 or if you feel *extremely* spendy, Bridgestone S-03's (they may be S-04's by now) which I loved on my previous car and which are used on some 911's.

I am running the BFG G-Force 2's now and they are phenomenal street tires for grip and mountain driving. I had BFG KDW2's previously and they were very, very good but had one major problem: absolutely dangerous in the rain. The former correct that problem in spades by actually having decent rain traction and warning you before you start to break away in the rear.

I'm no tire guru, but I was turned on to Federal 595's around a year ago for my daily. Liked them enough to order a set for the SC's new wheels as well. I'm sure there are way better tires out there, but for my 19's the value per dollar is pretty hard to beat.
