Default SC 400 Back to auto

I will likely get flamed, but I changed my 92 SC 400 back to automatic from the W58/LSD swap I did. See tag line. Search my threads. Reason for doing such a rash "restoration" is that I have too many cars and have decided to thin the herd. As the car has only 92000 km, (57,000 mi) I thought it might be an easier sell??? The only thing that I left modded was the IMF headers and BFI. It has been quite a ride and I had a blast working on this car. Knowing me and how I like to work on cars I may have another SC in my future.

Is it for sale in the local classifieds? Would you be selling the swap? I'd be interested in the BFI and IMF headers if you decide to part them!

..damn, I'd be interested in almost every modded part of your car hah

Well if you have too many cars, then sometimes it is better to move them out of the way. Everyone knows about modding and converting cars, youll get what you have in them, unless it is a collector or 30 years old. JMO

I think I would have at least listed it as-is to see if there was anyone interested in it with the mods.

That's of course unless you just wanted top dollar for all the mods. After all, any car is worth far more as parts than as a whole.

I know that every dollar spent on my car is wasted. It's not an investment in the car; it's an investment in my enjoyment of the car. There are far worse vices!

LOL the BFI and headers are the only parts that are still on the car.

I am with you MooJohn. Being up here in Canada the market for modded cars is much smaller. You might be right though with listing as it was. Would have saved me a bunch of work.
