Is that how steplip wheels are? Now I'm confused... I called up Wheelflip not to long ago, and they gave me an option of steplip for 19" faces and they didn't mention anything about it becoming 20's...
The face of a "stepped lip" is always 1" smaller than the actual diameter of the wheel on any stepped lip wheel. Thats what makes it a stepped lip lol. If he had regular reverse lips then yes the face would be a 19" face. And I'm talking about real 3 piece wheels that actually come apart of course
OP with the sizes you posted on the 18's I think you could pull it off nicely. Your car already does look very good though. I tried 19's for about a week and didn't like how the car felt honestly. I have 18x10 and 18x11 for example...
Oh ok. So it is still possible to have the "steplip" look, although its really reverse lips? Lol
Reverse lip is a flat lip, step always adds an inch to the wheel along with the diameter of the face. That's why when people get 2 or 3 piece wheels that are 18 inch they can upgrade it with a new outer step lip and make the whole wheel a 19 inch. If you mean having the end of the lip look like reverse lip then I know that all work wheels do that while they're step lip. Junction Produce Scaras that are step lip and have this final small step at the end of the lip (I like that, but only some wheels do that).
