Default 1999 sc300

Hey guys whats goin on, I just joined this forum cause ima be gettin my 99 SC300 in a couple days and im trying to figure some stuff out. First off, im going to be doing a auto to manual swap and im curious about the difficulty, ive done pretty basic stuff before to my DSM such as a turbo swap and things like that but im not completely confident i could do it myself. Also Im trying to get a parts list together that i would need for the swap, i know i need a W58 Tranny and clutch assembly and all that, but what else, and where could i buy all this?

I think Driftmotion has most of the parts like the shifter pieces ect....

You should do a quick search on previous w58 swaps to see what other people have already done. Goodluck, and dont forget to post up some pics when you get it

That listing is a bit iffy, the seller wrote that it's a 2JZGTE VVTI? ...Err ..and maybe I'm wrong but I do not see the Supra engine sitting in their, just the N/A 2JZGE

Ah, in that case How many miles does the car have on it? You're gonna be a lucky guy owning that!

2JZ motors are pretty weak in our heavy cars.

parts... if you look around in the classifieds every once in a while you can find a complete swap for around $1500. labor, however, is where you'll form a gaping hole in your wallet. if you have any friends that know cars and can turn a wrench see if they can help.
