Default how do u check abs codes on 98 Sc300?

Need help guys and gals.. Abs light is on and I need to pass a brake and tail lamp inspection... How do u check the codes on this year and model. 1998 sc300

That's for OBDI though. I've never had to clear an ABS light before so i can't help you there. Not sure if a scan tool could do that.

Had a mechanic find what my issue was. It was a relay that went bad. Replaced it but I need to reset the late and he hasnt been responding to me. Is there a way to reset it without a code reader?

We used to pull the ECU (1B?) fuse but I don't know if this helps. Just bring the car to O'Reillys/Autozone and clear it with theirs. Only some scanners will clear ABS codes. Good luck,

just updating what happened for anyones future reference.
i was able to fix my abs light issue. bad abs sensor front driverside. fyi u cant reset the light. it will do it on ots own once the problem is fixed!
