Default New Headlight Styling ... Opinions?

I was inspired by this wicked Soarer in Japan.

So I thought I'd attempt to replicate the look, since I haven't seen too many of you do it.
They remind me of cat-eyes. Rather than mold onto the fender (which I think this guy did), I used gloss-black vinyl, and wrapped the edge of the light, then gently cut the curve with a razor (by eye!)
Somehow, I was able to make them appear symmetrical on the first try (at least I think I did, you tell me).

To be honest though, Im not certain of how much I like it yet, I think it's gotta grow on me; perhaps after getting some feedback, haha.
Lemme know what ya's think.

Seriously Dude where do you come up with these?
I think you should give into your feminine side and get that Solara you obviously want.

I would go with aggressive eyelids if anything, but not those

Do you guys remember the fellow that installed RX8 headlights on his SC a few years ago? There was a long thread about how he did it. Those look very similar in shape to how these came out.

Excellent initiative. Does remind me more of the RX7 from FF3 (Tokyo Drift). Interesting concept, I think I'd have to live with them for a while.

That's pretty much how I feel, Im not certain I really like them either, but I don't think they're so-bad.
I kinda wanna feel it out for a while, and then really see, once I have coilovers & a drop.

I'll post daytime pics tomorrow.

Difference between the picture you've posted that inspired you and your car is, the original car is extremely modded or modded nonetheless while yours is bone stock making it seem rice bowl teryaki wasabi

I agree.

Blacked out on a black SC might look cool.

I saw a 370z the other day coming at me fast from behind with a body kit and something similar to this on his headlights and I barely recognized it until it got beside me.

With the right mods something like this could look cool.

The factory head lamps are lacking.
